Rewards Rates
The American Express Air Miles Business credit card earns Air Miles for all purchases made on the card:
- 1 Air Mile for every $10 spent on purchases at Air Miles partners (excluding Air Miles Shops).
- 1 Air Mile for every $15 spent on all other purchases.
Air Miles partners include retailers such as Safeway, Sobeys, and Metro. The full list of eligible retailers can be found here.
Redeeming Air Miles
Air Miles account holders can set their earning preference to either Cash Miles or Dream Miles.
Cash miles can be redeemed at a rate of 95 Air Miles = $10 CAD towards purchases at partners such as Sobeys, Sobeys Liquor, Shell, and more. They can also be redeemed for eVouchers at various partners, such as Spotify and Uber Eats.
Dream miles can be redeemed for flights, hotels, car rentals, and merchandise at various rates. If you are an Onyx Air Miles member, you can redeem dream miles through the personal shopper service which allows you to use your miles for anything you desire.

The American Express Air Miles Business credit card offers seven types of insurance coverage:
