The Scotiabank Basic Plus Chequing account offers 25 debit transactions per month and unlimited Interac e-Transfer transactions.
You can send money globally for $1.99 with Scotia International Money Transfer. Foreign currency exchange rates apply. Subject to daily limits and additional terms and conditions as set out in the Scotiabank International Money Transfer Agreement.
This account is eligible for overdraft protection. Subject to approval. A customer must apply for an Overdraft Protection Plan to determine if they qualify.
Fuel Up and Save at Shell
Receive an instant 3 cents per litre discount on purchases of fuel (all grades) at participating Shell locations in Canada when you use any eligible Scotiabank debit card or credit card linked to a Shell Go+ Account, up to a maximum of 1,000 litres per month per Scotiabank debit card and per Scotiabank credit card account. The Scotiabank Basic Plus Chequing account has a monthly fee of $11.95, which is waived if you hold a minimum balance of $3,000 in your Scotiabank bank account at all times.
