The Scotiabank MomentumPlus Savings account earns 0.40% on all deposits, regardless of the total balance. Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly, directly to the MomentumPlus Savings account.
Premium Period Interest Rate
Start a premium period and earn additional interest based on the premium period chosen:
- 0.30% additional interest for a 360-day premium period
- 0.15% additional interest for a 270-day premium period
- 0.10% additional interest for a 180-day premium period
- 0.05% additional interest for a 90-day premium period
Account holders can withdraw their money at any time. However, if you withdraw before the premium period ends, you will not earn the premium interest.
Calculated daily, paid at the end of each premium period as long as no debit transaction has occurred within that premium period.
