Rewards Rates
The American Express Delta SkyMiles Reserve credit card earns Delta SkyMiles for all purchases made on the card:
- 3 Delta SkyMiles for every dollar spent on purchases made directly with Delta.
- 1 Delta SkyMile for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
Redeeming Delta SkyMiles
Delta SkyMiles can be redeemed for flights, seat upgrades, Delta gift cards, and Delta vacations.

Benefits
Amex Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders will receive their first checked bag free on any Delta flights.
Delta Reserve cardholders will receive an annual companion certificate upon the renewal of their credit card. This certificate can be used for a domestic main cabin, comfort+, or first class round-trip flight purchase with a friend or family member. By applying the certificate towards a booking, the companion will only have to pay taxes and fees associated with their fare.
SkyMiles Reserve cardholders will also receive complimentary access to the Delta Sky Club airport lounges. Cardholders will also receive two one-time guest passes each year to bring family and friends into the Sky Club lounges for free.
Cardholders will receive complimentary Amex Centurion Lounge access when booking their Delta Airlines flight with their Reserve credit card.
Cardholders will also receive 20% cash back in the form of statement credit for any in-flight purchases on Delta Airlines including food, beverages, and audio headsets.
Cardholders can earn 15,000 Medallion Qualifying Miles (MQM) after spending $30,000 USD on the American Express SkyMiles Reserve credit card during a calendar year. This benefit can be earned four times in a calendar year, for up to 60,000 MQM upon spending $120,000 USD.
Cardholders can waive the Medallion Qualification Dollar (MQD) requirements towards status by making $25,000 USD in purchases on the Reserve card within a calendar year.
SkyMiles Reserve cardholders are also eligible to receive a statement credit towards Global Entry or TSA PreCheck membership (initial application fee or renewal). Cardholders are eligible to receive a $100 credit towards Global Entry or an $85 credit towards TSA PreCheck. This credit will refresh every four years.
Amex SkyMiles Reserve cardholders will be eligible to be added to the complimentary upgrade list after those who hold Delta status. Cardholders will also receive elevated upgrade priority status over other members who hold the same status as them.
