Make Purchases at McDonald’s
Earning points can be done through the McDonald’s App, as there is no physical membership card. Every dollar spent before tax at McDonald’s will earn you 100 MyMcDonald’s Rewards Points. Points are earned on all purchases except bag and cup surcharges, new or reloading McDonald’s Cards, and Delivery Orders made through third-party apps.
You can collect rewards through orders made in the app, at the counter, or at the self-ordering kiosk. In December 2025, McDonald’s announced that points can be redeemed for discounts on Expedia bookings for a limited time. You can redeem 2,000 points for a 5% discount and 4,000 points for a 7% discount.
