Earning Hilton Honors Points
The American Express Hilton Honors Aspire Card earns Hilton Honors points for all purchases made on the card:
- 14 Hilton Honors points for every dollar spent on purchases at hotels and resorts within the Hilton portfolio.
- 7 Hilton Honors points for every dollar spent on flights booked directly with airlines or AmexTravel.com and car rentals booked directly with select car rental companies.
- 7 Hilton Honors points for every dollar spent at U.S. restaurants, including takeout and delivery.
- 3 Hilton Honors points for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
Redeeming Hilton Honors Points
Hilton Honors points can be redeemed for stays at over 9,000 Hilton hotels, including luxury brands such as the Waldorf Astoria and the Conrad. The nightly point cost varies based on the hotel or resort, with the more aspirational and luxury properties costing upwards of 200,000+ Hilton Honors points per night.
Hilton Honors members with at least Silver Elite status will receive the fifth night free on Hilton Honors points booking, which means making a five-night stay entirely on points is the best way to get the most value from your Hilton Honors points.
Benefits
Semi-Annual $200 Hilton Resort Credit
Every anniversary year, American Express Hilton Honors Aspire cardholders are entitled to up to a $200 USD semi-annual statement credit for eligible purchases made directly with participating Hilton Resorts. One credit is available from January 1st to June 30th, and the second credit is available from July 1st to December 31st.
This credit can be applied towards room rates, dining, parking, and any other costs that can be charged to your room. The list of qualifying Hilton resorts can be found here.
Quarterly $50 Airline Credit
Cardholders can also receive up to a quarterly $50 USD airline credit, up to $200 USD per calendar year.
Hilton Honors Diamond Elite Status
As a cardholder, you will instantly receive Hilton Honors Diamond elite status, which is the highest status within the Hilton program. This status will persist for as long as you hold the Aspire card. This means that you will receive free breakfast for two, lounge access, and room upgrades where possible when staying at a Hilton portfolio property.
Hilton Honors Free Night Certificates
Upon approval, you will receive a Hilton Free Night Certificate Award, which can be used at almost any Hilton property. You will receive another free night award every year on your card member anniversary date. The free night award certificate will be deposited into your Hilton Honors account and can take 8-12 weeks to appear.
If you are a big spender, you will earn an additional Hilton Honors free night certificate after you spend $30,000 USD on your card in a calendar year, and a second free night certificate upon spending $60,000 USD in a calendar year. Waldorf Astoria & Conrad Hotel Credit
If you book a minimum of a two-night stay at a participating Waldorf Astoria or Conrad property through hiltonhonorsaspirecard.com and charge the full cost to your card, you will receive up to $100 in on-property credits during your stay.
$209 CLEAR Membership Credit
US and Canadian residents who hold the American Express Hilton Honors Aspire card will receive up to $209 USD in statement credits per calendar year towards a CLEAR® Plus Membership. Simply charge the membership fee to the card to automatically receive reimbursement via statement credit.
National Car Rental Emerald Club Executive Status
American Express Hilton Honors Aspire cardholders will also receive complimentary National Car Rental Emerald Club Executive status. Cardholders must enroll in this perk to take advantage.
