The BMO AIR MILES Mastercard earns AIR MILES and gives cardholders the opportunity to earn 3x AIR MILES on purchases at AIR MILES partners.

Rewards Rates

The BMO AIR MILES Mastercard earns AIR MILES for all purchases made on the card:

  • 3 AIR MILES for every $25 spent on purchases at Air Miles partners.
  • 2 AIR MILES for every $25 spent at any eligible grocery store.
  • 2 AIR MILES for every $25 spent at eligible wholesale clubs, membership-based retailers, and alcohol retailers.
  • 1 AIR MILE for every $25 spent on all other purchases.

Redeeming AIR MILES

AIR MILES account holders can set their earning preference to either Cash Miles or Dream Miles. AIR MILES can also be transferred between Cash Miles and Dream Miles at a ratio of 1:1, provided the AIR MILES member holds at least Gold status.

Cash miles can be redeemed at a rate of 95 Air Miles = $10 CAD towards purchases at partners such as Shell and more. They can also be redeemed for eVouchers at various partners, such as Spotify and Uber Eats.

Dream miles can be redeemed for flights, hotels, car rentals, and merchandise at various rates. If you are an Onyx AIR MILES member, you can redeem dream miles through the Onyx personal shopper service which allows you to use your miles for anything you desire.

  1. Hello, is this card still safe to enter same Airmiles Number for 2 player applications and both receive welcome points. Also, after canceling , how soon again can we both apply ? Have had the card since last July and was going to cancel and reapply when time. Is it still a very churnrable card ?
