Earning Cash Back
The KOHO Extra Mastercard earns cash back for all purchases made on the card:
- 1.5% cash back for every dollar spent on groceries, eating & drinking, and transportation purchases.
- 0.25% cash back for every dollar spent on all other eligible purchases.
Cardholders can also earn up to 6.5% cash back at select merchants.
Redeeming Cash Back
Cash back earned on the KOHO Extra Mastercard can be redeemed at any point by selecting the “Cash Back” option on either the KOHO mobile app or website.

Earn Interest on Card Balance
The KOHO Extra Mastercard earns 2.5% interest on the cash balance on the card.
No Foreign Transaction Fees
The KOHO Extra Mastercard charges no foreign transaction fees when online shopping or traveling, saving you 2.5% on every transaction that is made in a foreign currency. Cardholders will only have to pay the exchange rate when completing foreign currency transactions.
KOHO Credit Building
Cardholders can enroll in the KOHO Credit Building service (at a cost of $7 per month), which will give them the ability to grow their credit score by using this card.
Free 1GB eSim
Cardholders will receive a free eSIM with 1GB of monthly data that can be used abroad in 200+ countries. Cardholders will need to activate and install their eSim before their trip to utilize this benefit.
