Earning IHG Rewards Points
The Chase IHG One Rewards Premier Card earns IHG One Rewards points for all purchases made on the card:
- 10 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent at IHG hotels and resorts.
- 5 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent on travel, hotels, gas stations, and dining purchases.
- 3 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
Redeeming IHG Rewards Points
IHG One Rewards points should be redeemed for stays at IHG properties for maximum value.
Cardholders will receive the fourth night free when making a four-night points redemption stay in one booking, which is excellent value.
Benefits
IHG Platinum Elite Status
Chase IHG One Rewards Premier cardholders will receive automatic IHG Platinum Elite status simply for holding the card. As long as the cardholder has this card in their wallet, they will retain Platinum Elite status year after year.
Earn IHG Diamond Elite Status
Cardholders can be upgraded to IHG One Diamond Elite status by spending $40,000 USD in a calendar year. If earned, Diamond Elite status will remain through December 31st of the following year.
Anniversary Free Night
Chase IHG One Rewards Premier cardholders will receive an anniversary free night worth 40,000 IHG Rewards points simply for holding this credit card. The anniversary free night can be combined with points in your IHG Rewards account to redeem for nights that cost more than 40,000 points.
20% Discount on IHG Rewards Points Purchases
Cardholders who opt to purchase IHG Rewards points will receive a 20% discount upon purchase. IHG Rewards points can be purchased here.
Airport Security Program Credit
Cardholders are eligible to receive a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS statement credit of up to $120 USD when charging their new membership or renewal fees to their Chase IHG One Rewards Premier card.

Chase IHG One Rewards Premier cardholders will receive a $100 statement credit and 10,000 IHG points upon spending $20,000 USD in a calendar year.
