Rewards Rates
The Chase IHG One Rewards Traveler card accrues IHG One Rewards points for all purchases made on the card:
- 5 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent at IHG hotels and resorts.
- 3 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent on monthly bills including utilities, internet, cable, phone services, and streaming services.
- 3 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent at gas stations and on dining purchases.
- 2 IHG Rewards points for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
Redeeming IHG Rewards Points
IHG One Rewards points should be redeemed for stays at IHG properties. Cardholders will receive the fourth night free when making a four-night points redemption stay in one booking, which is excellent value.

Benefits
Chase IHG One Rewards Traveler cardholders will receive automatic IHG Silver Elite status simply for holding the card. As long as the cardholder has this card in their wallet, they will retain Silver Elite status year after year.
Cardholders can be upgraded to IHG One Gold Elite status by spending $20,000 USD in a calendar year. If earned, Gold Elite status will remain through December 31st of the following year.
Cardholders who opt to purchase IHG Rewards points will receive a 20% discount upon purchasing. IHG Rewards points can be purchased here.
Chase IHG One Rewards Traveler cardholders will receive 10,000 IHG points upon spending $10,000 USD in a calendar year.
