Rewards Rates
The TD Business Travel Visa* Card earns TD Rewards points for all purchases made on the card:
- 9 TD Rewards points for every dollar spent on purchases at Expedia For TD.
- 6 TD Rewards points for every dollar spent on purchases in foreign currencies.
- 6 TD Rewards points for every dollar spent on restaurant purchases and recurring bill payments.
- 2 TD Rewards points for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
Redeeming TD Rewards Points
TD Rewards points can be redeemed on travel bookings made on Expedia for TD at a rate of 0.5 cents per point or redeemed towards “Book Any Way” travel purchases at a rate of 0.4 cents per point. These are the best redemption options if you are interested in maximizing the value of your TD Rewards points.
TD Rewards points can also be used to purchase merchandise and gift cards or redeemed for a statement credit or education credit.
Insurance Coverage
The TD Business Travel Visa* Card offers several types of insurance coverage:
- Travel medical insurance: $2,000,000 for an insured person under 65 for the first 15 consecutive days of out-of-province travel; 4 days if over age 65
- Trip cancellation insurance: $1,500 per person, up to $5,000 for insured persons on the same trip
- Trip interruption insurance: $5,000 per person, up to $25,000 for insured persons on the same trip
- Flight and trip delay insurance: $500 in coverage per insured person if your flight/trip is delayed for over 4 hours
- Delayed and lost baggage insurance: $1,000 overall coverage per insured person for essential purchases when baggage is delayed for 6 hours or more
- Common carrier travel accident insurance: Up to $500,000 of coverage for covered losses while traveling on a common carrier
- Rental car collision and loss damage coverage: Comprehensive coverage for cars up to $65,000 MSRP
- Purchase security: Coverage for accidental physical damage or theft for 90 days from the date of purchase
- Extended warranty protection: Extend the manufacturer’s original warranty up to one additional year
