Earning AAdvantage Miles
The Citi / AAdvantage Business World Elite Mastercard earns AAdvantage miles for all purchases made on the card:
- 2 AAdvantage miles for every dollar spent on American Airlines purchases, telecommunications merchants, cable and satellite providers, car rental merchants, and at gas stations.
- 1 AAdvantage mile for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
For each AAdvantage mile earned, one American Airlines loyalty point will be earned as well. These loyalty points give cardholders the opportunity to work towards AAdvantage status through spending on their credit card.
