Marriott Bonvoy Free Night Certificate
American Express Marriott Bonvoy Business cardholders receive a free night award upon card anniversary. The Marriott Bonvoy free night certificate can be redeemed for one night’s stay at a property and is worth up to 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy points (see some of the best hotels in North America to redeem your free night certificate).
Cardholders will receive an additional free night award upon spending $60,000 USD on the card during a calendar year.
Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status
Cardholders will receive automatic Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status upon being approved for the card. Gold Elite status doesn’t come with many notable benefits, but status holders may benefit from room upgrades and late-check out.
15 Elite Qualifying Nights
Upon approval, and again at the start of every calendar year, American Express Marriott Bonvoy Business cardholders will receive 15 elite qualifying nights, which can put you on the fast track to Marriott Platinum status. These nights are credited to the linked Marriott Bonvoy account and count toward earning yearly Bonvoy elite status and Marriott Bonvoy lifetime status.
Marriott Bonvoy Stay Discount
American Express Marriott Bonvoy Business cardholders can receive a 7% discount on Marriott hotel stays when paying with their card. Cardholders will need to book directly with Marriott and select a participating property that offers the Amex Business Card rate.
