Earning American Express Membership Rewards
The American Express Gold Card earns Membership Rewards points for all purchases made on the card:
- 4 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent on restaurants worldwide (up to $50,000 USD in restaurant purchases per calendar year) and groceries at U.S. supermarkets (up to $25,000 USD in grocery purchases per calendar year).
- 3 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent on flights booked directly with airlines or on AmexTravel.com.
- 2 Membership Rewards points for every dollar spent on prepaid hotels and other eligible travel purchases booked through AmexTravel.com.

Benefits
Monthly $10 Uber Cash
American Express Gold cardholders will receive up to $10 USD in Uber Cash monthly, up to a total of $120 per calendar year. These credits can be redeemed towards any Uber or Uber Eats orders.
To receive this benefit, you must have downloaded the latest version of the Uber App, and your eligible American Express Gold Card must be a method of payment on your Uber account. The Amex Benefit may only be used in the United States.
Monthly $10 Dining Credit
Cardholders can also receive up to a $10 USD monthly restaurant statement credit, up to a total of $120 per calendar year. This monthly dining credit will be applied when the card is used at Grubhub, The Cheesecake Factory, Goldbelly, Wine.com, or Five Guys.
Monthly $7 Dunkin’ Credit
When using their American Express Gold card (US) at Dunkin’, cardholders will receive up to a $7 USD monthly statement credit.
Semi-Annual $50 Resy Credit
Cardholders who enroll in the Resy credit benefit will receive up to a $50 USD statement credit semi-annually when using their Gold card to dine at U.S. Resy restaurants or make other eligible Resy purchases.
