Earning Chase Ultimate Rewards
The Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business Card earns Chase Ultimate Rewards points for all purchases made on the card:
- 8 Ultimate Rewards points for every dollar spent on all purchases through the Chase Ultimate Rewards travel portal.
- 4 Ultimate Rewards points for every dollar spent on flights and hotels booked directly.
- 3 Ultimate Rewards points for every dollar spent on social media and search engine advertising.
- 1 Ultimate Rewards point for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
Redeeming Chase Ultimate Rewards
If you want to maximize their value, Chase Ultimate Rewards points are best used when they are transferred to one of the various frequent flyer and hotel loyalty programs that are available to be redeemed towards a future flight or hotel booking.
Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be transferred to frequent flyer programs at the following rates:
- Aer Lingus at a 1:1 ratio
- Air Canada Aeroplan at a 1:1 ratio
- Air France / KLM Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio
- British Airways Avios at a 1:1 ratio
- Emirates Skywards at a 1:1 ratio
- Iberia Plus at a 1:1 ratio
- JetBlue TrueBlue at a 1:1 ratio
- Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer at a 1:1 ratio
- Southwest Airlines at a 1:1 ratio
- United MileagePlus at a 1:1 ratio
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club at a 1:1 ratio
Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be transferred to hotel loyalty programs at the following rates:
- IHG One Rewards at a 1:1 ratio
- Marriott Bonvoy at a 1:1 ratio
- World of Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio
Chase Ultimate Rewards can also be redeemed as cashback, for gift cards, or for travel booked via the Chase Travel Portal. While these redemption options may make sense based on your personal situation, they are almost always of lower value than transferring to a travel partner.
Benefits
$300 Travel Credit
Cardholders will automatically receive up to $300 in travel purchase statement credits as reimbursement for travel purchases charged to their card each account anniversary year.
$500 Hotel Credit with The Edit by Chase Travel
Cardholders will receive up to $500 in hotel statement credits ($250 from January to June and $250 in statement credits from July to December) when booking hotels with The Edit by Chase Travel.
Guests at hotels booked via The Edit will receive complimentary benefits such as a $100 property credit, daily breakfast for two, room upgrades where possible, and more.
IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite Status
Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business cardholders will receive complimentary IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status through December 31, 2027.
$120 Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or Nexus Credit
When signing up for Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or Nexus, cardholders can receive one statement credit of up to $120 USD every four years as reimbursement for the application fee charged to their card.
Annual Business Credits
Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business cardholders can receive several annual business credits which include:
- $200 Google Workspace credit
- $400 ZipRecruiter credit ($200 from January to June and $200 from July to December)
- DashPass Membership (worth $120 annually) and $25 in monthly DoorDash promotions (worth $300 annually)
- $120 Lyft credits ($10 per month)

Priority Pass Select Membership
Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business cardholders will also receive complimentary access to the Priority Pass Select airport lounge program. This membership grants access for the cardholder and two guests to any Priority Pass eligible lounge.
Cardholders will also receive complimentary access for themselves and two guests to any Chase Sapphire airport lounges, including the noteworthy Chase Sapphire Lounge at LaGuardia.
