Rewards Rates
The RBC ION+ Visa credit card accrues Avion points for all purchases made on the card:
- Earn 3 Avion points for every dollar spent on:
- Groceries, dining out, and food delivery purchases
- Gas, rideshare, daily public transit, and electric vehicle charging purchases
- Streaming, gaming, eligible digital subscriptions, eligible digital downloads, and in-game purchases
- Earn 1 Avion point for every dollar spent on all other eligible purchases
Redeeming RBC Avion Premium Points
RBC Avion Premium points can be transferred 100:1 to WestJet dollars as part of the WestJet Rewards program which is the best value for your points.
While not advised due to the low value of these redemption options, RBC Avion Premium points can also be redeemed for gift cards, merchandise, statement credits, and more.

Cardholders can save on delivery with DoorDash as they will receive a 3-month complimentary DashPass subscription. Enjoy unlimited deliveries with $0 delivery fees on qualifying orders of $15 or more when you pay with your eligible RBC ION+ Visa credit card.
ION+ Visa cardholders will save 3¢/L on fuel at Petro-Canada and earn 20% more points when they pay with their linked RBC card.
Cardholders are eligible to earn 50 Be Well points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases at Rexall when you pay with your linked RBC ION+ Visa card in addition to scanning your Be Well card.
