Earning Cash Back
The Scotiabank Momentum No-Fee Visa Card earns cash back for all eligible purchases made on the card:
- 1% cash back on grocery store purchases, food delivery and food subscription services, and drugstore purchases (up to $15,000 in purchases per cardholder year).
- 1% cash back on eligible gas purchases, electric vehicle charging purchases, daily transit purchases, recurring bill payments, and recurring subscription purchases (up to $15,000 in purchases per cardholder year).
- 0.5% cash back on all other eligible everyday purchases.
Once the cash back bonus rate thresholds stated above are met, all future purchases will award 0.5% cash back for the remainder of the cardholder year.
Redeeming Cash Back
Cash back earned on the Scotiabank Momentum No-Fee Visa Card can be redeemed at any time, provided the cardholder is redeeming a minimum of $25 in cash back.
