Credit card welcome offers change frequently and BMO has just pushed a new round of offers on two of their credit cards: the BMO eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege card and the BMO Ascend World Elite Mastercard.

The BMO eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege card earns BMO Rewards points and offers cardholders benefits including an annual $200 lifestyle credit and six complimentary airport lounge passes annually.

The new welcome bonus is structured as follows:

  • Earn 50,000 BMO Rewards points when you spend $6,000 in the first 3 months
  • Earn 30,000 BMO Rewards points when you spend at least $30,000 in the first 6 months
  • Receive an additional 40,000 BMO Rewards points when you spend at least $75,000 in the first year

BMO eclipse Visa Infinite cardholders are eligible to receive a $200 annual lifestyle credit. This credit is applied to the first purchase made on the card that totals over $200; no further action is required in order to receive the credit.

The lifestyle credit is based on the calendar year, meaning you may be able to take advantage of the credit twice in one cardholder year (e.g. if you applied in June and received the annual lifestyle credit, you would be eligible to receive it again in January).

BMO eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege cardholders are eligible to receive complimentary membership to the Dragonpass lounge program, in addition to six complimentary airport lounge passes.

The BMO Ascend World Elite Mastercard now has a welcome bonus of up to 90,000 BMO Rewards points, earned through a segmented rewards structure. This offer has an expiry date of May 31, 2024.

The new welcome bonus is structured as follows:
