Credit cards are a large piece of the miles and points game. Everyone wants to earn the most points as quickly as possible for the lowest cost. That is what our credit card comparison tool is designed to help with.
Today we are excited to announce the launch of another new tool to help with lowering credit card costs, which we are calling the rebate comparison tool.
Since 2021, we have chosen to monetize Frugal Flyer by offering kickbacks (rebates) on products from our affiliate partners: credit cards and bank accounts. However, we are not the only website doing this. Undoubtedly, many of you have heard and probably used sites like Great Canadian Rebates and creditcardGenius in the past.
When applying for a new card, you may wonder if there is a rebate available, and on which site you can get the highest possible rebate.
Our new tool is relatively simple: it automatically pulls the current rebate offer for a given credit card (or bank account) from Frugal Flyer, Great Canadian Rebates, and creditcardGenius. These are compiled in a single table for easy comparison.

The tool is currently only pulling rates for products from financial institutions which we have secured partnerships with. This means some institutions like American Express or RBC are not shown. However, we are working on securing further partnerships. We are optimistic that these will be added in the near future 🙂
We hope the community finds this tool useful and no longer has to juggle checking for information across multiple websites.
Additionally if you have any suggestions for improvements that would make the tool even more useful, feel free to leave them in the comments or send us an email.

Wow this is huge, saves me time, and appreciate that FF recognizes that others have (different) rebates as well. Kudos!
Thanks Eric. Precisely what we are trying to achieve.
