One of our main goals with Frugal Flyer has been to educate our readers on a variety of finance, miles and points, and loyalty program topics. We’ve built of number of tools to make that possible, such as our credit card comparison tool and bank account comparison tool. We’ve even developed some niche applications, including our Miles & Points Transfer Partner tool.
We previously launched our Frugal Flyer Rebate Comparison tool in early 2022, but are excited to announce a refresh of the tool complete with new features including filtering and sorting. Let’s take a look at the relaunched tool and how you can use it for your benefit!
Frugal Flyer’s Rebate Comparison Tool
Since 2021, Frugal Flyer has offered cash back rebates on financial products from our partnered financial institutions, which consist of credit cards and bank accounts. When applying for a new credit card or bank account, you may wonder if there is a rebate available, and on which rebate site you can get the highest possible rebate.
Our new tool is relatively simple: it automatically pulls the current rebate offer for a given credit card or bank account from the three biggest financial product rebate websites in Canada: Frugal Flyer, Great Canadian Rebates, and creditcardGenius.
When visiting the tool, it default sorts by the highest cash back rebate offered by Frugal Flyer. Users can now filter by product type as well as institution. If they want to learn more about the card or bank account, the name is linked to the product page for additional reading about the offer and benefits of the product. Finally, if interested in applying for that financial product with Frugal Flyer, simply click the “Apply” button to get started.
As an aside, our rebate comparison tool currently only pulls cash back rebate amounts for bank accounts and credit cards from financial institutions which we have secured partnerships with. This means some institutions, like American Express, are currently absent from the list. We are always working on adding new financial institution partners and will update the comparison tool as those partners come online.
Conclusion
We hope the community finds this tool useful and no longer has to check multiple websites to ensure they are getting the best cash back rebate when signing up for their next financial product. While we would love for you to choose the FlyerFunds Rebate Program for your next credit card or bank account sign-up, our goal is to educate consumers to make the wisest choice for their wallets.
Additionally, if you have any suggestions for improvements that would make the tool even more useful, feel free to leave them in the comments below.

Wow this is huge, saves me time, and appreciate that FF recognizes that others have (different) rebates as well. Kudos!
Thanks Eric. Precisely what we are trying to achieve.
