À La Carte Rewards Program
À la Carte rewards points are the in-house rewards program at National Bank and they can be redeemed for a variety of options. However, the best value can be extracted by using your points for travel purchases:
- Travel purchases that have been booked with the À la carte rewards travel agency.
- Points can be redeemed at a rate of 1 cent per point (10,000 points = $100).
- Travel purchases that have been booked on your own externally.
- Points can be redeemed at a minimum rate of 0.833 cents per point (12,000 points = $100). The cent per point value increases the more points you redeem (up to 0.909 cents per point for a $500 redemption).
The best value for your À la Carte rewards points is to redeem them against travel bookings made through the À la Carte Rewards travel agency. A close second is to redeem them against travel you have booked on your own.
Apply Now Through Frugal Flyer Rebates
If you are interested in signing up for a National Bank credit card and want to receive some extra cash back in your wallet, head over to the FlyerFunds Rebates and follow the steps to apply.

When I applied for this card on Aug 24, I remember National bank website shows first year annual fee waived. When I got approved today on Sept 2, I did not find any information of first year annual fee waived on their website. Is there anyone screenshot the offer including first year annual fee waived?
Hi Zuoli,
You could check on Wayback Machine / Internet Archive to see previous versions of webpages if it was saved there. Unfortunately, we don’t have much control over the accuracy of information on institution’s websites but if there was a mistake there, you’ll have to take up the case with NBC.
Hope to see the WE MC included soon!
Us too Larry! Keep an eye out…
