Today at Frugal Flyer we have some incredibly exciting news to share. We’ve been given inside details on a brand new aircraft being added to Air Canada’s fleet, the Boeing S570 aircraft. The inaugural flight will be on June 16, 2022.
The Quebec-made S570 features wider Economy seats with ample legroom, along with ample aisle and overhead storage space, larger windows, and lower in-cabin noise levels for a quieter, more pleasant flight. It also has fully featured first class and business class cabins, aiming to compete with some of the premier premium class airlines in the world.
On-board Experience
With extensive space and elevated amenities, the S570 offers superior comfort for a best-in-class premium customer experience on long haul intercontinental flights.
As the largest wide-body passenger airliner in production, you will enjoy a spacious cabin with more headroom, plus the largest windows and overhead storage in its class.
The S570 has been designed with premium class in mind, featuring incredible First Class and Business Class cabins to create experiences that rival the top first class airlines.
Intercontinental First Class
The S570 will feature twenty suites in its First Class cabin, at the front of the upper deck, arranged in a 1-1 layout. Features include:
- A Horween leather seat with full reclining feature and separate bed in each suite
- Personal tablet for accessing in-flight entertainment
- A six course menu with several exotic animal meats to choose from
- A personal robot bartender that prepares drinks for you (martinis can only be shaken, not stirred)
Business Class
With extra legroom and larger seats, Air Canada Business Class offers superior comfort with cabin features including:
- An exclusive cabin with guaranteed access to a window or aisle
- Adjustable headrests
- A personal touchscreen monitor with access to in-flight entertainment (however the only movie option available is Casino Royale)
Economy Class
Who cares about economy class. Not worth discussing.
Environmental Sustainability
Being consistent with environmental sustainability goals, the Boeing S570 runs completely off of electrical charge. This plane is being heralded as the “Tesla of the Skies” and will no doubt change the way we view aviation for years to come. Through utilizing Tesla Supercharging technology, this aircraft alone has the ability to significantly decrease Air Canada’s fuel costs. Excessive fuel surcharges will still be levied by Air Canada of course.
Network Expansion
Air Canada is pleased to extend service with a new non-stop route that circles the globe from Vancouver to Toronto, starting Summer 2022.
Thanks to its innovative design and state-of-the-art technology, the S570 features an extraordinary range to carry you farther and faster than ever before.
Conclusion
The surprise addition of the Boeing S570 to Air Canada’s lineup is sure to please even the pickiest aviation geek.
If you want to fly on this new aircraft, consider reaching out to James Bond or booking a vacation to Casino Royale for your best chances.
