RBC Avion Rewards Program
Avion points that are earned on the RBC ION and ION+ Visa credit cards are a slightly different currency than the Avion points that are earned on Elite Avion credit cards, and thus, they have different and more restrictive redemption options.
Avion points can be transferred to the WestJet Rewards loyalty program at a 1:1 ratio (meaning 100 Avion points will equal 100 WestJet points).
RBC Avion points can also be redeemed for travel, gift cards, merchandise, statement credits, and more, but the value of these redemption methods is far less than using these points for travel or transferring them to a partner frequent flyer program.
