Providing our readers with the knowledge needed to make the best travel redemptions possible is top of mind in everything we do at Frugal Flyer, whether that be informational articles, our personal experiences and insights, or an actual tool to make your miles and points journey easier.

With that in mind, we have now launched our Miles & Points Transfer Partner tool.

The Miles & Points Transfer Partner Tool

Many points programs in Canada and the United States offer flexible points currencies, meaning currencies that can be used within their own in-house loyalty program but also transferred to other frequent flyer and hotel loyalty programs. Transferring these flexible points to these programs is how we are able to book business class flights and stay at luxury hotels for pennies on the dollar.

Understanding that flexible points currencies are worth their weight in gold when used properly, we built an aggregate table that captured all points programs in Canada and the United States that have flexible points currencies to be used as a reference guide when planning out your miles and points strategy.

Users can filter the table by country, points program, transfer partner, and partner type.

Upon filtering, users will be able to see the points program that can be transferred from, the transfer partner that points can be transferred to, the transfer ratio, as well as the transfer time.

For example, if you wanted to see all Canadian points programs that can transfer to British Airways Avios, it only takes a few clicks to filter it down to not only see all points programs, but also the transfer ratio, any promotional transfer bonuses, and the transfer times. If you want to learn more about any of the points programs, you can click the ⓘ beside the points program name.

Transfer bonuses are one of the best ways to increase your miles and points balances even further, as they can often add up to 30% on top of existing transfer ratios for a limited period of time.

With the Miles & Points Transfer tool, you will no longer need to rely on blog posts for up-to-date information on any promotional transfer bonuses. Simply visit the tool page, select the bonus checkbox, and the table will automatically filter to any points programs and transfer partners that have an active promotional transfer bonus, complete with bonus percentage and end date.
