Scene+ & Shell Offer: Now Available Nationwide

While the Scene+ and Shell Canada partnership launched in Alberta on March 3rd, the offer is now available nationwide as of May 26th, 2026 at participating Shell locations. This means that Canadians can now earn and redeem Scene+ points at Shell stations, in addition to receiving additional discounts at the pump with Scotiabank.

Scene+ is one of our favorite loyalty programs in Canada for the various partnerships they offer and ease of redemption, so this partnership with Shell Canada feels like the logical next step as the program continues to grow.

Let’s get into all the details of this new partnership and how you can expect to benefit.

The Scene+ & Shell Canada Partnership: What To Expect & Savings

The Scene+ and Shell Canada partnership introduces another avenue for Canadians to participate in the ever-popular Scene+ loyalty program. Members will now be able to earn and redeem Scene+ points at participating Shell locations, whether they are purchasing fuel, car washes, or other convenience store purchases.

Not only can Canadians earn and redeem Scene+ points at Shell stations, but there are also fuel savings to be had. Scene+ members can get up to 10¢ per litre in value* when they pay for fuel with a Scotiabank payment card that earns Scene+ points linked to Shell Go+:

●     Instant 3¢ per litre savings on any grade of fuel at participating Shell locations

●     An additional 4¢ per litre in instant savings on Shell V-Power® purchases

●     Up to 3¢ per litre in Scene+ points value on Shell V-Power ® purchases

How to Link Your Eligible Scotiabank Card to Shell Go+

If you hold an eligible Scotiabank card, you’ll want to link it to your Shell Go+ account to maximize your fuel savings and rewards. This is a simple process that can be initiated by logging into your Scotiabank account (either via mobile app or desktop) and clicking on “Benefits” and then selecting the Shell benefit.

 Members will need to accept the terms and conditions and then log into their Shell Go+ account to complete the link.

Earning & Redeeming Scene+ Points at Shell

Earning and redeeming Scene+ points at Shell Canada stations is straightforward and simple.

Scene+ members can earn points at Shell by swiping their Scene+ card at the pump or in store, by paying with the Shell Go+ App after linking your Scene+ membership, or by paying with an eligible Scotiabank card that is linked to your Scene+ account. Members will earn Scene+ points at the following rates:

●     1 Scene+ point per litre of fuel (all grades)*

●     1 Scene+ point for every dollar spent on car wash and eligible convenience store purchases*

Members who link their Scene+ membership to Shell Go+ will also unlock bonus rewards, including 10% more bonus points on Shell Regular, Plus, and Diesel and 2x more bonus points on Shell V-Power^®. They will also earn 10% more bonus points on eligible convenience retail and car wash purchases.*

When it comes to redeeming Scene+ points for purchases at Shell stations, the traditional and maximum redemption value of 100 Scene+ points = $1 CAD applies. Scene+ points can be redeemed towards fuel, car wash, and eligible convenience store purchases. Since you aren’t receiving any less value redeeming Scene+ points at Shell, this is a perfectly acceptable redemption option if you are looking to save on your next tank of gas.

As an aside, a small bonus is that if you redeem Scene+ points for your Shell purchase, you will still earn Scene+ points on the full value of the eligible purchase (including the portion paid with redeemed points).
