If you have read a few of my articles in the past, you’ll know that I have been a big fan of the Capital One Venture X Rewards Card. One of the main reasons that I love the card so much is the airport lounge access that it comes with, including the Capital One Lounges.
You will be able to find other Capital One Lounges in Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD), Denver International Airport (DEN), and New York (JFK). Additionally, you can also find the newer dining-focused lounge in the Capital One Lounge Network, titled Capital One Landing, at Washington-Reagan (DCA) airport.
My first experience with a Capital One Lounge was in Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD), and it was ranked as one of my favourite airport lounge experiences to date. When we had our annual Frugal Flyer Team Meetup in Las Vegas in April 2025, it was on my to-do list to visit the Capital One Lounge in LAS on the way home!
Let’s take a look at the Capital One Lounge at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and see if it stacks up with other premium airport lounge options on the market.
Where is the Capital One Lounge at Las Vegas Airport?
The Capital One Lounge at LAS is located in Terminal 1, Concourse D on Level 2 near gate D50.

After passing through security, you will have a short walk to Concourse D, where you’ll see this massive set of escalators that will take you to Level 2.

After heading up the escalators, make a right turn and then head straight down that passageway (you would head the opposite way if you wanted to visit the American Express Centurion Lounge at Las Vegas instead). You will quickly see the entrance of the Capital One Lounge at LAS in all its glory on your right-hand side.

Accessing the Capital One Lounge at Las Vegas Airport
Capital One Lounges typically do not have waiting lists or long lines to get in because you can only access the lounge if you hold an eligible Capital One credit card.

Personally, I rely on the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card for access.
The Capital One Venture X Rewards Card offers unlimited airport lounge access, an annual $300 travel credit, and more.

However, each Capital One credit card has its own rules pertaining to lounge access:
| Credit Card | Primary Access | Guest Policy (as of Feb 1, 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Capital One Venture X Rewards Card | Unlimited access | Guests: $45 (adult) / $25 (under 18); kids under 2 free 2 free guest passes if you reach $75,000 USD in annual spend |
| Capital One Venture X Business Card | Same as personal | Same as above |
| Venture X Authorized Users | Unlimited access until Feb 1, 2026 | Lounge access is no longer included; $125/year to reactivate lounge access |
| Venture / Spark Miles | Purchase access: $45/adult, $25/child under 18, kids under 2 are free | N/A |
| Non-cardholders | $90 per visit; kids under 2 free | N/A |
Unfortunately, as the saying goes, “all good things must come to an end,” and the lounge access for the Capital One Venture X Rewards card is among the good things that are coming to an end.
In February 2026, there will be massive changes to lounge access for the Capital One Venture X. Perhaps the biggest change is that authorized users no longer get unlimited lounge access to Capital One Lounges or Priority Pass lounges. Instead, there will be a $125 USD annual fee to reactivate this perk for authorized users.
Additionally, cardholders wishing to bring guests to the Capital One Lounge will now pay $45 USD per guest for entry. These changes are devastating to our household, as my fiancée’s primary access to airport lounges is through being a Venture X authorized user.
If you aren’t a Capital One Venture X personal or business card holder or are looking for a credit card with more comprehensive lounge access now that these changes are imminent, you should consider the American Express Platinum Card for the American Express Global Lounge network and memberships to programs like Priority Pass or DragonPass.
Seating
There is ample seating at the Capital One Lounge at LAS. Unlike other more popular lounges, like those included with Priority Pass, you won’t find yourself having to wait for a seat or be crowded with our guests.
As you’re on the second floor, you have some neat views of the main concourse of LAS if you sit near the window.

Otherwise, there is plenty of booth and table seating available around the lounge.

You can also sit at the bar if you prefer that kind of experience!

Food & Beverage
The food and drink options at the Capital One LAS lounge were nearly identical to the offers that were available at the Washington-Dulles Capital One Lounge.

It featured a collection of small plate items that were all excellent. Breakfast is served from 5:30 am to 11:30 am, and with an early flight out on Porter Airlines, I found myself there for breakfast service once again.

My favourites were the smoked salmon baguette, the sweet potato hash bake, and the fluffy pancake in its own pan. If you look back at my review of the Washington-Dulles Capital One Lounge, you’ll notice that what I ate was nearly identical!
If you find yourself in a rush, there is a self-serve grab-and-go station with baked goods, salad, and sandwiches that you can take with you. You’ll also find a small refreshments bar with coffee and tea, and water.

I took a sandwich, a cookie, and some water with me before I left and enjoyed them on my flight back to Toronto.
In terms of beverages, the Capital One Lounge at LAS features a full-service bar with alcoholic beverages included with entry.

The wine and beer menu is as follows, but there are also many spirits on hand with skilled bartenders who can craft a cocktail if you wish.

For non-alcoholic options, you will find a variety of carbonated drinks, pop, water, and coffee in the refreshments section of the buffet line. These are all on-tap, which makes pouring yourself a pop quite the fun activity! Unfortunately, there was no barista coffee bar at this location.

Bathrooms
The bathrooms are nothing to write home about – there are ample amounts of gender-neutral bathrooms, but no shower facilities.

Other Amenities
Unfortunately, the Capital One Lounge at LAS didn’t have many amenities on top of what you would typically expect at an airport lounge. A nice touch was private, soundproof workrooms where you could take your meetings or phone calls if you needed to attend to business.

Conclusion
I am slowly and steadily being able to tick off visiting the Capital One Lounges as they continue to expand and open new locations, and each one I have visited so far has been excellent.
Comparing my first experience at Washington-Dulles to this one in Las Vegas, I would say that Capital One Lounges are very consistent. From their decor to their menu to their amenities, you can expect a comfortable stay in one of their lounges the next time you travel. In my opinion, I enjoyed my time at the Capital One Lounge at Washington-Dulles more due to their full-service barista coffee bar.
Unfortunately, there are some huge changes to the lounge access rules for the Capital One Venture X Rewards Card coming. I encourage you (and your authorized users) to make the most of your lounge access before things change in February 2026!
