The WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business has an annual personal income requirement of $80,000 or an annual household income requirement of $150,000. If they don’t meet the above-stated income requirements, applicants can also qualify through one of the following methods:
- Minimum annual business revenue of $250,000
- Minimum spend of $25,000 on purchases that are eligible for a direct payment through a credit card
- Minimum assets under management of $400,000
Earning Rates
The WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business earns WestJet points for all eligible purchases made on the card at the following rates:
- Earn 3 WestJet points for every dollar spent on WestJet flights and WestJet Vacations packages.
- Earn 3 WestJet points for every dollar spent on telecommunications, shipping, and electronics purchases.
- Earn 1.5 WestJet points for every dollar spent on all other purchases.
These earning rates make the WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business the most powerful WestJet points-earning card in the Canadian marketplace, even eclipsing the WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard.

The WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business has an annual fee of $175.
Benefits
WestJet Silver Status
New WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business cardholders will automatically receive WestJet Silver status shortly after the date of approval through December 31 of the following year.
WestJet Silver status members can enjoy exclusive benefits such as lounge passes, priority check-in and boarding, and two free checked bags for the member and up to eight additional guests traveling on the same reservation.
Cardholders can continue to qualify for Silver status in subsequent years by spending $30,000 annually on their WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business.
WestJet Status Lift Benefit
The WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business offers a Status Lift benefit, in which cardholders will earn $200 in tier qualifying spend towards WestJet Rewards status for every $5,000 spent on the card in a calendar year.

Cardholders can utilize this Status Lift benefit up to 50 times per calendar year, meaning that if you were to spend $250,000 on your WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business, you would earn $10,000 in tier qualifying spend, which would earn the highest WestJet Rewards status level, Platinum status.

WestJet Biz Program
Cardholders will automatically be enrolled as a Tier 1 Member of the WestJet Biz Program until December 31 of the following year. In subsequent years, cardholders must book at least one flight annually to retain Tier 1 membership.
Tier 1 Members can receive competitive flight discounts (up to 15%) on all domestic, transborder, and transatlantic routes. They can also book travel through westjetbiz.com through their preferred travel management company, travel agency, or self-serve.

Link your WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business with a Petro-Points membership to instantly save 3₵/L on fuel at Petro-Canada stations and earn 20% more Petro-Points.
Earn More Be Well Points at Rexall
Link your WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business with a Rexall Be Well account and get 50 Be Well points for every $1 spent on eligible products at Rexall. Redeem Be Well points faster for savings in-store on eligible purchases where 25,000 Be Well points = $10.
DoorDash DashPass Subscription
Add your WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business to your DoorDash account to receive a 12-month complimentary DashPass subscription (a value of almost $120). Cardholders will enjoy unlimited deliveries with $0 delivery fees on orders of $15 or more when they pay with their eligible RBC credit card.
Insurance Coverage
The WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business offers several types of insurance coverage:
- Emergency medical insurance: Coverage for the first 15 days of any out-of-province trips for travelers under the age of 65 or the first three days for those aged 65 and up
- Trip cancellation or interruption insurance
- Rental car collision and loss damage coverage: Comprehensive coverage for cars up to $65,000 MSRP
- Purchase security: Coverage for accidental physical damage or theft for 90 days from the date of purchase (up to $50,000 per calendar year)
- Extended warranty: Extend the manufacturer’s original warranty up to one additional year
- Mobile device insurance: $2,000 coverage for theft, loss, or accidental damage to your mobile device
Cardholders should refer to their certificate of insurance for specific details about their insurance coverage.
Redeeming WestJet Points
The WestJet Rewards program offers members the ability to redeem WestJet points towards WestJet flights and WestJet Vacations packages.
To redeem WestJet points, sign in to your WestJet account when booking a flight, and you will have the option to redeem as many of your eligible WestJet points as possible.
WestJet points can be applied against the base fare cost and towards any of the additional taxes and fees that make up the remainder of the ticket cost. They can also be applied towards incidental fees such as checked baggage or seat selection fees.
